The West Custer County Library presents Ann Williams’ historical portrayal of “Kid Curry’s Last Ride,” on Tuesday, December 6th at 10 a.m. in the Library’s Community Room. Take a break from holiday shopping and join presenter and author Ann Payton Williams as she “channels” a Texas soiled dove to tell the story of the outlaw considered “the worst of the worst.” Kid Curry rode with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, killed 9 or more and became the most wanted outlaw of his time. The story climaxes when Williams’ great grandfather, a backcountry rancher, joins a posse to reclaim his stolen horse. He never expected a shootout with “the tiger of the Wild Bunch.” Williams will have books available for sale and signing.
