Challenge your mind and engage in a Great Books Directed Discussion led by retired Naval War College Professor Karl Walling. The directed discussion will begin with Jane Austen’s novel “Pride and Prejudice.” The method used is Socratic. The discussion leader will start the conversation with a question about the reading, ensuring everyone can participate but no one dominates. The conversation will remain grounded in the text while enabling participants to pursue the truth they find in the reading. Registration is required. Participants are welcome to bring a lunch.
