A Conversation with the Water Commissioner

The West Custer County Library is hosting Wet Mountain Valley Water Commissioner Jerry Livengood.  Jerry will provide an update on the state of water in the Valley.  Water is a precious resource in the West and folks often have lots of questions about water plans, water rights, pond management and so much more.  Bring your questions and let’s get a water conversation started!

As Water Commissioner Jerry is part of a team that ensures the water rights priority system is followed.  The team enforces the decrees and water laws of the State of Colorado.
