The Jones Theatre and the West Custer County Library are cosponsoring a Chautauqua Event “Meet Gail Beaton’s Rosie the Riveter” at the Jones Theater, 119 Main St. At this FREE event learn about the great contributions women made to World War II efforts. Gail Beaton plays Gail Murphy, a bullet case worker at the Denver Ordnance Plant, Colorado’s version of Rosie the Riveter. In Chautauqua tradition, Gail will first take questions as the character, then answer questions as the scholar/actor. A reception will follow the presentation.
