Suicide Prevention & Awareness Presentation & Discussion
The West Custer County Library and Custer County Public Health are cosponsoring a Suicide Prevention and Awareness Presentation and Discussion on Thursday, September 29th at 5:30 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room. Public Health Substance Abuse Coordinator Patrick Fiore will lead the presentation and discussion. Fiore will share: local, regional, and national data as well as trends. Attendees will learn about risk factors for rural ranching and agricultural communities. He will also identify who is at risk and when and how to intervene. Lastly Fiore will provide information on local resources and beyond; and what our community can do to help. He will be available for questions following the presentation.
