Volunteers
The Library currently has regular volunteers who help shelve materials and cover our books. Shelving substitutes fill in when needed. We often need a second adult at youth programs, and set up/breakdown help for Library programming and the Craft Fairs. We always accept volunteer applications to have on file when a volunteer position becomes open. If you’d like to help out, see a Co-Director to fill out a volunteer application form. Thanks for your interest!
Donate!
Another way to support your Library is by joining the Friends of the Library. Forms are available at the front desk at 209 Main Street in Westcliffe or on the Friends web page, and it just takes a few moments to fill it in and mail it or drop it off at the Library. Memberships start at $15. The Friends donations support our year-round programs for kids and adults, public computers, new books and movies, and the courier service that brings materials from our 130+ partner libraries.
You can also donate directly to the West Custer County Library District via check sent to P.O. Box 689, Westcliffe, CO 81252. Or donate online using the button below:
Donations are tax deductible, and a letter of acknowledgement will be mailed upon request.
For special donation arrangements or donations in memory of family or friends, please contact Administrative Co-Director Janet Rhodes directly at 719-783-9138 or janet@westcusterlibrary.org.
